The Road Often Crossed
Everyone always wants to know. Why did the chicken cross the road? Most people seem to think it’s just to get to the other side. They must think that it’s some kind of joke! Well, we don’t think it’s quite that simple. We think that the chicken crossing the road is a metaphor for getting to a better place in life, perhaps overcoming a great hurtle to find yourself in new surroundings. Perhaps it means something deeper about conquering difficult trials in life. After all, a busy road is no cakewalk for an intrepid chicken!
Well, we wanted to explore the idea. Really get into the chicken’s head on this one… and that’s why we had our costume designers make this Adult Cluckin’ Chicken Costume. When you wear it, you can get a sense of what the average chicken is going through.
Design & Details
This Made by Us costume captures the intriguing nature of the chicken! Okay… so maybe this chicken costume is a little more wacky than intriguing, but it’ll still have you looking like the bird that seems to be crossing all sorts of roads! The costume comes with a hooded jumpsuit made out of a soft, sherpa fabric. It fits with a zipper down the front of the jumpsuit and has elastic in the legs to help provide a snug and cozy fit. The costume comes with an attached hood and comes with a soft-sculpted beak on the front to give you that perky chicken look. The costume also comes with a pair of foot covers, which you can wear over most pairs of shoes. That means you can wear your favorite pair of kicks with this outfit!
