A pair of detachable bat wings, made from shimmery velvet and matte satin, attach securely to the dress with hook-and-loop fasteners. At the same time, elastic bands allow you to control their every movement—actual flight is not advised.
But to fully capture Mavis’s look, you’ll want to layer the jet-black synthetic fiber wig over your own style, assuming you don’t already rock an exaggerated widow’s peak and black bob.
