A League for America!
Baseball is America’s national pastime. And America is about freedom, equality… and Halloween costumes, too, if we have anything to say about it! But, not all Halloween costumes are created equal, especially when they’re based on baseball. For one thing, a lot of them are designed exclusively for men. For another, too few are based on classic baseball movies, which are almost a national pastime unto themselves!
We definitely thought that this was a huge issue that needed to be addressed. Naturally, our in-house design team is always ready for the challenge, and we think we’ve hit a home run with this one. So, if you’re looking for a costume for women that was inspired by a classic baseball movie, you’re about to find something pretty exceptional. Design & Details
Inspired by the real-life look of a championship team from the women’s professional league that thrived during the mid-20th century, this authentic-looking costume includes everything you need to dress for a doubleheader and win both games. Any ballplayer knows that while this uniform has a uniquely feminine style, you’d have to be tough as nails to dive for a foul pop fly or slide into second base while wearing it. We know these ladies really knew their way around the diamond, both gals in the film and the real athletes they were inspired by!
